Hyperbaric oxygen therapy

Boost your body’s natural recovery with concentrated oxygen therapy!

We Need More Oxygen In Our Life

90% of all energy in our body comes from OXYGEN.

Breathing oxygen is essential for our body to produce energy and sustain life. A lack of oxygen can lead to insufficient metabolism, cellular degeneration, weakened natural defenses, and various health problems. Many health issues are caused by hypoxia, highlighting the importance of increasing our oxygen supply and absorption.

Also, 90% of all energy in our body comes from our breath.
Just as every cell in our body needs more energy, every energy needs more oxygen. Therefore, bringing more oxygen to the human body to obtain and fully absorb is very important and priority thing.

  • Increased Energy Demand
Energy is essential for the proper functioning of our body. During human metabolism, oxygen is critical for completing the physiological oxidation process that generates energy. As an integral component of this process, oxygen serves as the foundation for the body’s energy supply, fueling every functional activity. To boost energy levels, it is crucial to ensure an adequate oxygen intake.
  • A Key Component of the Immune System
Oxygen plays a pivotal role in maintaining the vitality of the immune system. Only when oxygen levels are sufficient can the nutrients consumed be properly oxidized, converted into energy, and distributed to the body's organs and tissues. This ensures that the immune system can function optimally, protecting the body from illness and maintaining overall health.
  • The Consequences of Oxygen Deficiency
Oxygen is indispensable for sustaining life and health. Insufficient oxygen levels can lead to hypoxia, which weakens the immune system and increases susceptibility to infections like the common cold. Prolonged oxygen deficiency can contribute to the development of more severe health conditions, such as chronic diseases and neurological disorders, threatening overall well-being.
The origin of hyperbaric oxygen therapy

The origin of hyperbaric oxygen therapy

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) dates back to the 1600s. In 1662, an English clergyman named Henshaw built a structure called "The Abode," which was equipped with a system that produced high and low pressures to treat various ailments. In 1878, French physiologist Paul Bert discovered a link between decompression sickness and nitrogen bubbles, and it was discovered that the pain could be improved by recompression. French surgeon Fontaine continued the concept of treating patients under pressurized conditions, building a pressurized mobile operating room in 1879. Fontaine discovered that inhaled nitrous oxide was more effective under pressure.

In the early 20th century, anesthesiologist Orville Cunningham observed that people with heart disease improved better near sea level than those living at higher altitudes. This extended the development of the "Steel Ball Hospital" located on the shores of Lake Erie. This hospital can reach 3 absolute atmospheres (now demolished)Later, the military developed hyperbaric oxygen chambers in the 1940s to treat deep-sea divers suffering from decompression sickness. Doctors first used HBOT during heart and lung surgery in the 1950s, and since then, more than 10,000 clinical trials and case studies have been completed for hyperbaric oxygen therapy, used in many other health-related applications, and achieved A huge success.

WHAT IS HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY(HBOT)?

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, or HBOT for short, is a special therapy that breathes the pure oxygen in an environment of more than one atmospheric pressure in a pressurized chamber, often referred to as ATA (atmosphericressure absolute). It enhances the body’s natural healing process. Under increased pressure environment, additional oxygen will be allowed to reach all damaged tissues, effectively increasing blood oxygen tension, increasing blood oxygen levels and helping the body in the healing process.

HOW dOES HBOT WORK?

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is based on the concept of Hnry’s Law, “The dissolution of gas by a liquid is proportional to its partial pressure”, that is, more gas can be dissolved in the liquid at higher pressure.

In hyperbaric oxygen therapy, more gas means oxygen and liquid means my blood, plasma and tissue. Therefore, breathing oxygen under high pressure can make our body’s blood and tissues absorb more absorption and dissolution, usually several times higher than that under normal pressure.

The atmospheric pressure at sea level is 760 mm Hg, the oxygen concentration is 21%. After red blood cells have a limitation to absorb more oxygen due to the pressure. But via placing people in a higher pressure hyperbaric environment, the increase in atmospheric pressure at sea level goes from 760 mm Hg to 988 mm Hg, under this invironement, red blood cells can continute to absorb dissolvemore oxygen.

The saturation concentration of a gas in a liquid is proportional to the equilibrium partial pressure of the gas on the liquid surface

Increase pressure brings in more gas(oxygen) dissolving into a liquid ( red blood cells).

Henry's Law

At constant temperature, the pressure of a gas is inversely proportional to its volume

Under higher pressures gases(oxygen) can dissolve in liquids(blood plasma)

Boyle’s Law

Why is Hyperbaric Oxygen Beneficial?

The oxygen element in our body is divided into combined oxygen and dissolved oxygen. Unlike other elements, we cannot replenish the oxygen in the body through drugs or changes in diet. Under normal air pressure, our oxygen-carrying cells (red blood cells, carrying combined oxygen) are already saturated. , and therefore can no longer carry excess oxygen for use by the body.

During hyperbaric oxygen therapy, the body is placed under mildly increased pressure to just above one atmosphere, creating an environment in which oxygen can dissolve directly into the blood (dissolved oxygen), tissues, and other body fluids, thereby greatly increasing The oxygen content in cells prompts the body to produce more energy. This increase in energy can help the body fight aging, resist stress, and relieve other sub-health symptoms that we usually are not easily aware of due to the degradation of body functions.
